SMBA Community League Team Organization Update

We are currently in the process of organizing teams for the SMBA Community League across all divisions: Spuds, Minis, and Bantams. Here’s an overview of what’s happening right now:

Community Coordinators are busy organizing teams, selecting coaches, and finalizing practice schedules for the upcoming season.

Once teams have been assigned coaches, coaches will contact team members directly via email with important information, including practice details and any further instructions.

After all teams are confirmed, they will be added to TeamLinkt, where team members and parents will have access to practice and game schedules, making it easy to stay updated on team events.

Games for all divisions (Spuds, Minis, and Bantams) will officially begin on Saturday, October 19th.

Thank you for your patience during this process! We are working hard to ensure everything is organized smoothly, and we look forward to another great season of basketball.
Please check back for updates or contact your division’s community coordinator for more information.

Community Association League Information - Ensure you register in the appropriate age group

Community League:

  • We offer a community development league for kids and youth from grades 3 to 12 .
  • We work with community associations to create teams and assign coaches. The community coordinator assigns practice times with the coaches, and communication comes from the coach to individual players and families.
  • Games are played on Saturdays and are scheduled by the SMBA.
  • We are using Teamlinkt as our website, and the Teamlinkt app will sync schedules directly to your mobile device.
  • Registration occurs on the SMBA website. When registering, please select the community association you live in. If your community does not offer basketball, you will be placed in the next closest community association that does.
